Traditionally, massive Wall Street firms pay virtually nothing to trade stocks, while average Americans are charged up to $10 per trade. Robinhood is changing that, by leveraging technology to build tools which allow everyone to participate in our financial system. We quickly found out that Robinhood is a brand that pays a lot of attention to be a knowledge based business with a lot of available online content to learn from. So when Ueno invited us to create animated content for Robinhood, we were stoked to roll up our sleeves.
We combined 2D and 3D animation techniques and decided our workflow based on the artwork made by several talented illustrators across the world. We decided to create seamlessly looping content, ideal for social and online use.
The result is a vivid series of looping animations in isometric perspective, that injects that bit of personality into a financial brand making it refreshing and original.
